How to get here        

By air, you can get to Clermont-Ferrand/Aulnat airport, which is a hub for Air France/Regional. In any case one gets to us by car, as there is no train.

You take the A71 highway from the north (Paris-Orleans-direction Clermont). You then take the highway A89 towards Bordeaux, shortly before arriving at Clermont. Then take the first turnoff on the A89 at Manzat/Aire de Manzat.

From there, follow the signs to Manzat - Chateauneuf - Saint-Gervais d'Auvergne. Basically this means just following the main road. You will traverse the Sioule river valley at Chateauneuf and continue to Saint-Gervais. Once there you stay on the main road which encircles the town (indicated as 'Autres Directions'). Follow the signs to Sauret-Besserve. Our house is situated close to a railway crossing about 1 km outside the village of Sauret-Besserve, in the direction of Fades-Besserve/les Ancizes.
